Configure Domain IP Allowlist on Azure

Overview

When using an Azure VM or Azure SQL-based database with Jet products, it may occasionally be necessary to explicitly grant access to your data for those within your organization.

This can be accomplished by "allowlisting" your organization's range of IP addresses.

  1. Access your Azure SQL Server.

  2. Within the Settings pane, select SQL databases and then select the database to which you want to grant access.

  3. Click Set server firewall.

  4. At the top of the Firewall Settings window, click + Add client IP .

Then specify a Rule Name as well as the Start IP and End IP of the address range that needs access to the database.
