Error "Item Has Already Been Added" Opening Server Properties on Analysis Services

Overview

The error occurs when the user attempts to open the server properties for SQL Server Analysis Services within SQL Server Management Studio

Cause

There is a known issue when using SQL Server 2012 , 2008 R2 , or 2008 with the following operating systems:
