Error: Error opening connection to BC Cloud: System.ApplicationException: Invalid response from Business Central calling API GetLanguage
Symptoms
When attempting to connect to an online tenant of Business Central using the BC provider you encounter the following error:
Error: Error opening connection to BC Cloud: System.ApplicationException: Invalid response from Business Central calling API GetLanguage
This is a known bug with the Jet Analytics market place extension.
Resolution
- In BC, search for Web Services.

Sort by the Object ID column in descending order and locate Object ID 14125509.
- Click Edit List and change the Object ID to 14125508.
After the change you should be able to connect to the BC database via the BC Provider.
