When connecting with a 'Dynamics 365 Business Central public cloud (Web Services)' data source, an error can be displayed:

You do not have the following permissions on TableData What's New Notified: Read

Cause:
There is a virtual What's New Notified table in Business Central public cloud which users are unable to gain Read access to in order to display the record count for that table in the Jet design tools.
Resolution Process

Open Excel and navigate to the Jet > Data Source Settings.

Select the Display tab on your 'Dynamics 365 Business Central public cloud (Web Services)' data source and uncheck Display table record count.
Click OK to save your settings.
