Error: Error in Command: TimeXtender.DataManager.ActivationCommandObject

Symptoms

When attempting to activate the Jet Data Manager offline via the 'Manual Activation' method, the following error message is displayed:

" Error in command: TimeXtender.DataManager.ActivationCommandObject reference not set to an instance of an object."

Cause

This error message is caused when your activation file is out of date.

Resolution

Manual activation files are keyed to not only your Jet license, but also to the version of the Jet Data Manager in use.  If you encounter the above error message after upgrading your Jet Data Manager, please submit a support request. We will need to create a new Manual Activation file for you before you will be able to activate.
