Error while using GL Budget with Dynamics NAV 2009R2

Overview

When using the Jet GL("Budget") function with a data source for Dynamics NAV 2009R2 or earlier, the following error is displayed:

Internal error 1123 in module 19.

Cause

This error indicates that the user (whose credentials are being used to connect to the database) does not have permissions to the Budget Ledger Entry table.

Note: Errors in Module 19 are C/Front errors.  They can be looked up in a supporting C/Front file called “DBERROR.txt” which resides in the C/Front program files folder.

C/Front is the NAV utility which handles communications between NAV and other applications.

Resolution

The user whose credentials are being used to connect to the database will need to be assigned read permissions to the Budget Ledger Entry table by a Dynamics NAV administrator
