Local Navision Databases

This information applies to Dynamics NAV data sources.

You cannot open a local NAV database both with the Dynamics NAV client program and with Jet Reports at the same time.

You may get an error message complaining that a file cannot be created if you attempt this.

As long as you have sufficient concurrent users in your license file, a server-based NAV database can be open by NAV clients and Jet Reports at the same time.
