Migrate Jet Analytics To Cloud Platform

To migrate Jet Analytics to Cloud Platform, perform the following steps:

1. Upgrade the On Prem Jet Data Manager to the latest version before exporting the project xml file so that it is compatible with the cloud Jet Data Manager. It is also recommended to run the project once with the new version to ensure there are not any issues with the latest version. This ensures that any troubles encountered in the cloud are due to the cloud setup rather than the newer Jet Data Manager version.
2. Export the project file from the On-Premises Jet Data ManagerFile Menu.

   

3. Sign in to the Jet Analytics Cloud remote desktop and the Jet Data Manager should already be open.
4. Click the upload icon to upload the project xml file.

5. Find and open the file.

   

6. Click File and then import in the Jet Data Manager.

7. Go to This PC > Remote Desktop Virtual Drive on RDWebClient > Uploads folder and open the project XML file.

   Note: If the versions of the On-Premises Jet Data Manager and the Cloud Jet Data Manager do not match, an error message will be displayed. Upgrade the On-Premises Jet Data Manager to the latest version to match the version in the cloud. You can then export, upload, and import the project again.
