Use the +1 button

Overview

When adding a new table to your project, you typically want to add a number of fields. To quickly add several fields without having to repetitiously use +1 button.

Clicking the +1 button will commit the current field and clear the dialog window so that another field can immediately be created.

The +1 button exists on a number of dialogues, including

• Add Data Warehouse table
• Add Custom Table
• Add Standard Measure

Process

1. Right-click a table in the staging database, and click Add Custom Field.

2. Give the new field a descriptive name, and click the +1 button.

3. The custom field is committed, and the dialog resets in preparation for adding subsequent fields.
