Notifications Delivery Preferences

In the Intelligence Layer, you can choose how and when the software sends you notifications regarding generated Rule results. You can access the notifications settings by clicking the Delivery Preferences button in Reports Center > Intelligence Layer. The software takes you to Reports Center > Administration and displays notification settings for Rules and Email Digest.

Configuring Default Notification Channels

For Rules, you can configure default notification channels. This settings define where the software sends notifications for newly generated Rule Results. You can select between Homepage notifications and Email notifications.

Configuring Alert Cool-Down Period

The alert cool down period is a designated break period during which you will not receive any notifications on results generated for the same Rule generated for the same report. To configure alert cool-down period, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Reports Center > Intelligence Layer and click on Delivery Preferences. The software displays Notification Settings for Rules and Email Digest.
2. In the Alert cool-down period section, define the Cool down in field to inform the software how long it needs to wait until notifying you of an Insight generated for the same report or a Rule Result generated based on the same Rule.
3. Click Save.

The software will delay notifying you by the defined amount of time.

Configuring Email Digest

An email digest is a single email that consolidates multiple notifications or updates into one summary message, typically sent at scheduled intervals.

To configure email digest frequency, follow the below steps:

1. Navigate to Reports Center > Intelligence Layer and click on Delivery Preferences. The software displays Notification Settings for Rules and Insights,and Email Digest.
2. In the Email Digest section, define the following properties:
   • Digest Frequency - for exampleDaily.
   • Time - for example 09 AM.
3. Navigate to Digest Recipients section and select the users who receive email digest. Type in the emails manually or choose from suggestions.
4. Click Save.

With such a configuration, the selected users will be receiving email digests daily at 9 AM.
